China,
officially the People's Republic of China is a country in East Asia
and the world's most populous country, with a population of around
1.404 billion in 2017. Covering approximately 9,600,000 square
kilometres, it is the third or fourth-largest country by total
area. China’s
political system was based on hereditary Monarchies or dynasties
beginning with the semi-mythical Xia dynasty in 21st Century BCE.
China as a whole was ravaged by feudal warlordism with Japan during World War II. The Chinese civil war resulted in a division of territory in 1949 when the communist party of China led by Mao Zedong established the people’s republic of China on mainland China. Also the Kuomintang led nationalist government retreated to the Island of Taiwan where it governed until 1996 when Taiwan changed to democracy.
China’s economy has been one of the world’s fastest-growing with its annual growth rates consistently above 6 per cent. According to the World bank China’s GDP grew from $150 billion in 1978 to $12.24 trillion in 2017. In 2018, its GDP increased to $13.5 trillion (90 trillion yuan). Since 2010, China has been the country with the world’s second-largest economy by nominal GDP and the largest economy in the world by purchasing power parity in 2014.
China is also the world’s largest exporter and second-largest importer of goods and also the home to some of the world’s largest tech giants such as Huawei, Baidu, Tencent and Alibaba as it is the world’s most technologically advanced nation. Since 2019, China has the highest number of rich people in the world.

International passport with at least six months validity and two blank visa pages. A neatly and genuinely completed visa application form. One recently taken passport photograph with full face and bare hair against a white background. Photocopy of previous Chinese visa page if you’ve visited China before, this will help to reference your travel history. Travel itinerary documents which include round-trip flight ticket records. An International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required. The applicant must submit a photocopy of the booklet (not the original). The applicant under age 18 must submit a signed letter of consent signed by both parents, a copy of minor's birth certificate and a copy of the passports or photo IDs of both parents. Original Invitation letter issued by a vacation sponsor in China if any, the invitation letter should contain personal information on the applicant (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.) The invitation letter from the host in China should also indicate the relationship with the applicant, the purpose and the duration of stay in China. Letter of invitation from tour organization to be visited in China stating the exact duration of stay and purpose of the visit is required. Receipt that the applicant has paid the tour fee should be attached to the letter from the tour organization.

Current Pakistan passport with at least 6 months of validity and at least one blank visa page. One completed and signed visa application form. 1 recent passport photograph that is taken with the last 6 months displaying a non-smiling expression. Flight ticket for return of applicant’s journey is mandatory. Applicants are required to provide photocopies of important documents. A copy of the applicant’s flight ticket is a mandatory China visa requirement. Letter of invitation from inviting company in China stating the purpose of stay and duration of stay. The letter should also indicate who will be responsible for the applicant's financial expenses. The letter must include contact information such as company address and phone number of the company in China. The letter must be approved by the Ministry of Labor and Employment. Business letter from applicant’s employer in Pakisan stating they are aware of the applicant’s leave is required. The business letter should also indicate the contact information of the company in Pakistan. Copy of confirmed itinerary showing dates of arrival and departure.
